Product Description
The Simpson Strong-Tie® ATR is a fully-threaded rod designed for tension transfer. These rods are threaded along their entire length and are ideal for a variety of applications. The ATR rod comes in a variety of sizes from 3/8-in. diameter up to 2-in. diameter.

Installation
- When placing the rod as part of the ATS run, the most commonly used procedure involves dropping in (or pushing up) the rod through the drilled holes in the flooring system after framing is completed
- Holes in sole/top plates and floor system shall be drilled 1/4" larger than the rod diameter
- Drilled holes through the sole/top plates and flooring system should be completed with one continuous drilling action
