Product Description

The Type 305 stainless-steel Deck-Drive DCU Composite screw provides corrosion resistance for all types of composite and PVC decking, and is especially suited for applications in environments with chlorides. The DCU penetrates composite decking with a Type-17 point and is engineered with inverted upper threads that clear excess material to ensure a clean, secure installation. Also available with color-matching painted heads to blend with popular manufacturers’ decking for a more concealed, professional finish.

  • Inverted upper threads clear excess material to ensure that the screw has a clean finish
  • Unique cut point penetrates composite decking with ease for fast starts
  • Cap head prevents mushrooming and material from rising up above the deck for a smoother, clean-looking installation
  • When used with sleeper assemblies, the 2'' DCU Composite screws should have a minimum penetration of 1" into the wooden roof deck sleeper and should not penetrate through the roof deck sleeper
  • The 2 3/4" length is an approved fastener by Trex® for Trex composite decking
  • The 2 3/4" length is also available collated for the Quik Drive system
  • Replacement bit part number: BIT20T-2-R2
