If you are looking for a R-30 for a 2x10 rafter we do manufacture the R-30C which has a higher density so it can achieve the R-30 at 8.25" and can be used in a 2x10 rafter and still leave a 1" air space for ventilation. If the 9" R-30 is compressed into a 2x8 rafter will provide an approximate R-value of R-25. Thank you for your inquiry!
