Product Description

The Strong-Drive SDPW Deflector Screw from Simpson Strong-Tie is a premium structural fastening solution for connecting non-load-bearing walls to trusses and joists. The offset driver bit kits replace key accessories that support installations using the Strong-Drive SDPW Deflector screw. Each kit contains two offset driver bits and one 3/8-in. quick-release predrill bit.

  • T25 Offset Driver Bit kit is for installing 3 1/2" and 5" SDPW Deflector screws
  • T40 Offset Driver Bit kit is for installing 6" SDPW Deflector screws
  • Can be set to provide either a 3/4" offset from screw head to wood surface or to drive screw flush with wood surface
  • 3/8" x 5" quick-release predrill bit is ideal for predrilling top plates prior to SDPW Deflector screw installation
  • 3/8" quick-release predrill bit fits most driver motors
  • Designed for use with the SDPW Deflector screw bit extension — model PW18EXT or PW30EXT (each sold separately)
